Dr. Piatkowski is a leading expert in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery. He pioneered the use of Autologous Fat Transfer (AFT) for breast reconstruction in the Netherlands, making it the first country to reimburse this technique. His clinical and research work has helped to establish Maastricht as a national centre of excellence for breast reconstruction.
