Constantin Stan

Constantin Stan M.D. was born in 1956 in Romania and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania in 1982.Dr. Constantin Stan was trained in Head and Neck Surgery at UMF Bucharest and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emergency Hospital “Floreasca” Bucharest, the Plastic Surgery Department. He is board certified in both Head and Neck and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is fellow of many surgery societies including, Romanian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive, French Society of Aesthetic Surgery, Romanian Society of Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery, ISAPS Society and IPRAS Society. He has also obtained his doctorate in medicine with a thesis regarding the Role of Radiofrequency in Plastic Surgery of Face and Body.

Speaking fluent English, French and Italian Dr. Constantin Stan has been invited as speaker at many international congresses and workshops, he has presented on a number of aesthetic surgery topics, including breast augmentation, and facial aesthetic surgery.

He has published numerous papers and chapters as well as presented multiple plastic surgery lectures on the international level.

Dr. Constantin Stan is the founder of Cronos Med group of clinics of which belong Cronos Hospitals, with specializations such as gynecology, dermatology, ENT, aesthetic-plastic-reconstructive surgery, infantile surgery, and intimate surgery – opened in 1992 in Bacau – Cronos Day Surgery, with aesthetic surgery profile – opened in 2012 – and the latest one, Cronos Institute, with anti-aging and regenerative medicine profile – opened in 2017 – both in Bucharest.

Dr. Constantin Stan has a number of patents and innovations to his name including the Mono RF Forceps for breast surgery (Ellman International INC.), and Biodynamic Planning Consulting System Computer assisting in Breast Augmentation (former C.A.I.S.).

Dr. Constantin Stan has an extensive experience of anatomical breast implants for augmentation. He has developed new techniques for use in clinical breast implant surgery (multiplane / multilayers Pocket Dissection), and combination of fat transfer and breast implants for aesthetic breast reconstruction.

Further, he is active educating plastic surgeons around the Europe and abroad on the new level of breast augmentation.
Dr. Constantin Stan has received awards for his contributions to the improvement of aesthetic surgery from the Japanese Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Yokohama 2005) the South American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (Buenos Aires, 2003), IMCAS and ISAPS.
